ABET Assessment

ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission logoThe undergraduate programs (systems engineering, industrial engineering, engineering management) offered by the UA department of systems and industrial engineering are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, http://www.abet.org.

ABET accreditation assures a quality education in the professions for which students are training. ABET accredits only postsecondary degree-granting programs housed within regionally accredited institutions. It does not accredit degrees, departments, colleges or institutions. Accreditation in the United States is a voluntary, nongovernmental periodic peer-review process.

Please see the UA Assessment site for details, including educational objectives and expected learning outcomes for the following degree programs:

For more information about accreditation at the UA College of Engineering, please see the College's ABET Accreditation page.
